Queen Chrysalis MLP Plushieby ~iSaunter

Finally! This girl was a bear to do. She was made by me from scratch – I had no pattern, though I did create a pattern while making her. Progress photos can be seen on my Twitter feed @iSaunter.

Size:
Height from hooves to top of head: 20 inches
Height from hooves to top of horn: 29 inches
Length from nose to tail: 20 inches

Chrysalis is made of many materials: Her body and eyes are made of anti-pill fleece; her mane and tail are made of synthetic, smooth polyester, and her wings are made of a mesh fabric similar to tulle, which is supported by thin copper wiring. Her hooves, hair and wings all have holes stitched in them. This made the work incredibly time consuming. I estimate that she took over 48 hours to make, over the span of two months.

She was mostly machine sewn, but many parts were hand stitched. She does not have her crown. I thought it detracted from her appearance and did not make one.
